Lesson 17: Major Scale -- Scale Contrary

In this lesson, we will play the C major scale with both hands separate, then together in contrary motion starting with both thumbs on middle C.  Continue work on "Skip to My Lou" with the student now playing the right hand accompanied by you, and also, as before, the left hand accompaniment with you playing the melody.

Continue to review "I Get Hot Playing Piano", "Amen/Yeah Man", and "C Me Practice Piano",

<notice the dissonance in the middle notes of the major scale when played contrarily>
